If you have cleared your concept from NCERT maths book class 12 then now it’s time for you to go for the question of RS Aggarwal Class 12 Cross or vector products of Vector PDF.

What is Cross or vector products of Vector?

The cross product, also known as the vector product, of two vectors is a vector that is perpendicular to both of the original vectors. It is calculated using the following formula: A x B = |A| |B| sin(θ) n

where A and B are the two vectors, θ is the angle between them, and n is a unit vector that is perpendicular to both A and B and points in a specific direction (often called the “right-hand rule”).

The magnitude of the cross product is equal to the product of the magnitudes of the two vectors and the sine of the angle between them. The direction of the cross product is given by the right-hand rule, which states that if the thumb of the right hand is pointing in the direction of the first vector, and the fingers are pointing in the direction of the second vector, then the cross product will point in the direction of the thumb.

It is used in physics, engineering and other fields where the direction and magnitude of a vector is important. It is important to note that the cross product is only defined for 3-dimensional vectors and it is not commutative (A x B ≠ B x A)
